A seasoned strategist with a rich background spanning national organizations like the American Red Cross and United Way Worldwide, Shannon has mastered the art of connecting resources with impact. Her work with cultural institutions like the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Art & Culture and grassroots organizations has shaped her understanding of how effective fundraising can transform communities.
Beyond her professional achievements, Shannon's dedication to mentoring emerging leaders and supporting women's advancement shapes her approach to capacity building. As Board Chair of the She Dreams In Color Foundation and a long-time mentor with ANSWER Scholarship, she demonstrates her commitment to creating pathways for others to thrive.
Shannon holds a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Eastern University and a BA in Mass Communications from Clark Atlanta University. A proud Charlotte native, she brings both national expertise and deep local connections to her role at ARCHITECT.
